During my recent stay at Gîte Du Mont-Albert - Sepaq Villa, I embarked on a culinary experience that was commendable yet left room for improvement. The setting in Gaspésie National Park offers breathtaking views, with trails that provide a refreshing escape into nature. I had the pleasure of indulging in a three-course table d'hôte dinner at the Gîte restaurant. This meal, featuring regional products, had its highlights; however, the flavors varied across the dishes. A few plates left an impression, while others fell short of the expected excellence. The ambiance complemented our dining experience, though the lack of attentiveness from certain staff members, particularly the host, was noticeable. Despite this, the waitstaff exhibited genuine friendliness, adding a touch of warmth to the evening. The following morning's breakfast was included and reflected a similar innovation, inviting guests to fuel up before a day of hiking. Gîte Du Mont-Albert provides a lovely blend of nature and culinary exploration, appealing to those eager to enjoy both.
